VBscript
VBScript is
a server-side scripting language, which is interpreted by many web
servers such as Microsoft IIS or Susie Apache. VBscript is essential
since ASP is not a "touring complete" language, that is ASP does not
have its own control structures and statements and the use of VBScript
becomes necessary. Scripts written with VBScript will also embed your
SQL and ASP scripts and commands, which are necessary for you to connect
your web pages to databases created with Access or SQL Server or any
ODBC compliant RDBMS.
You will use
this language to write control scripts on the server where you are
going to host your ASP pages. The Vbscript course covers 30 hours
working through an instruction manual with step-by-step lessons to
create pages, components and applications. A trainer will get you
started with an introduction and demonstration, before showing you
how to work through the exercises. Trainers will be available at all
times if you need assistance
