MCSE
(Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer)
The MCSE credential
is the premier certification for professionals who can successfully
design, plan, and implement a network infrastructure, Active Directory
- based infrastructure, and client deployment on the Microsoft Windows
2000 & 2003 Server platforms. They also perform maintenance at a high
level for a medium, to large sized Windows 2000 & 2003 Server based
environments. It is worth noting that as you work through the modules,
you will gain certification in: MCSA and/or
MCDBA
The MCSE Certification
track is made up of seven modules. Each module requires an exam pass
for you to continue working through the track. For each module exam
passed, you gain a MCP (Microsoft Certified Partner).
It is recommended
that you have a good working knowledge of PCs and networking, in order
to do this course. If you don't please look at our CompTIA
A+ course.
Training involves tutor-led classroom sessions, where you will be
taught how to build, install and troubleshoot Computer Systems (hardware/software),
networks, etc.
Syllabus
Modules 1-6
include: 4 full consecutive days of Instructor Led classes. 3 Microsoft
certified Study Guides from Sybex Press. 200 hours of flexible exam
preperation sessions, using the popular NETg exam preperation software.
Lab assignments, and practical test sessions, to simulate real life
networking problems. Handouts & additional material. Below is a brief

Modules 7 and
8 are elective, meaning you can choose which one you want to take.
If you choose to take both of these modules, you will be awarded with
dual MCSE & MCDBA certification. Both modules 7 and 8 include: 2 days
of Instructor Led tuition. one Microsoft certified Study Guide from
Sybex Press. 50 hours of flexible exam preperation sessions using
the popular NETg exam preperation software. Lab assignments and practical
test sessions to simulate real database solutions. Extra database
