Computer Training we offer two major programming languages to study:
Java or Visual Basic .Net. which one you decide to learn is up to
you. Depending on your choice, you will then sit either the 'SUN Certified
Java Programmer' exam or the programming with 'Visual Basic' from
Microsoft exam.
Our Programming
course comes in two Stages. For the first stage you will be required
to complete the Programming Principles course, which takes 30hrs.
For the second stage, you will be asked to make a choice between the
two major programming languages, Java or Visual Basic .Net to learn;
either option leads to certification.
Syllabus
Programming
Principles: This introductory programming course is for people
with no experience in programming. It is designed to gradually introduce
you to the structures and logic found in all programming languages.
There are 25 different programmes that you type and execute, starting
from the easy to the difficult; at the end you will have an understanding
of how programming languages work.
(Option 1) Java (SCJP): The J2SE platform is a fast
and secure foundation for building and deploying client-side applications.
J2SE technology enables faster and easier use of functionally rich
Web applications, such as corporate intranets and interactive shopping
aids for e-commerce.
An experienced Java programmer will supervise you through the Syllabus,
in preparation for the 'SUN Certified Java Programmer' exam. You will
work from Java study manuals, computer based training materials and
practise exams.
(Option 2) Microsoft Visual Basic .Net: Visual Basic
.NET is one of the most common programming languages used to create
applications for the windows enviroment . It is used to create interfaces
for databases, or control applications for various tasks. A popular
and easy to learn language which uses graphical user interface (Windows).
.NET is object-oriented like Java.
An experienced Visual Basic .NET programmer will supervise you through
the study Manual, computer based training materials and practise exams.
