HTML (Hyper
Text Markup Language) is a simple scripting language used to create
web pages. It consists of a common alphabet of 'tags', which have
been adopted as an industry standard, and is interpreted by all Internet
Browsers. HTML is the first thing you should learn before doing any
internet related course, as it will provide an invaluable foundation
when working with Web Design applications.

On this course
you will learn how to use HTML tags to format and arrange a web page.
You will use NOTEPAD as your text editor, and view your results on
Internet Explorer. You will be given the task of creating a web site
for an online flight booking company. The instructions on the layout
and the content-links of the web site will be provided to you through
2 HTML manuals. There will be trainers available at all times to assist
you.
